The right technician for every job
How dispatch and technicians work with one planning board, one route and one status.
4 min read
A job rarely fails because of the technology, more often because of planning: the technician doesn't have the part in the van, doesn't know the system or arrives at the wrong time. Good dispatch prevents this when it knows who can do what and what is where.
Suggestion by qualification, van stock and distance
On the planning board, dispatch sees all jobs. For a new order, SIMON suggests suitable technicians: who is allowed to service the system, who has the part in the van and who is closest. Dispatch makes the decision.
The technician's day
- The daily plan shows all jobs with travel times, hints and figures on working time and van stock
- In driving mode, SIMON reads out the briefing and starts navigation
- The technician reports delays with one tap, and the operator sees the appointment status in the portal
This way dispatch and technicians work with the same status, without a chain of phone calls.
